One More Confirmed Swine Flu Patient in Goa

The swine flu virus is spreading in Goa. There is no sign of curtailing of this frightening virus in the state inspite of continuous efforts by the Government through its Medical and Para-Medical force. Soon after the death of one swine flu patient one more case has been confirmed today that having swine flu and is being treated in private hospital with severe illness.

19 new suspected swine flu cases have been found in Goa in last three days. There is an urgent need to take all precautionary measures by each and every one to curtail this frightening virus. As prevention is better that cure, let us know the possible precaution and preventive measure that can be taken to make sure not to get effected by this natural bio-terrorist.

1. As there are chances of spreading this Flu viruses when people with influenza cough or sneeze, everyone should make a special effort to avoid contact with potential virus carriers.

2. Those who travel abroad have to be alert about the epidemic situation. Avoid crowded groups.

3. Cover your mouth and nose with tissues when you sneeze or cough and dispose them properly. Practice good personal hygiene and make sure you use surgical masks and gloves and other sanitary products when you are stepping out of your home.

4. Better stay at home if you are sick and take the advice of your physician if illness continues.
