Time needed to study CRZ: Jairam to CM

The Union Minister of State for Environment and Forests, Mr Jairam Ramesh has written to the Chief Minister, Mr Digambar Kamat, that his officials were on the work to find solution to the problem relating to Coastal Regulation Zone issue and that it would take some time before the solution could come.
The Union Minister informed this to Mr Kamat in a letter written to him. Mr Ramesh has informed him that since the information provided by the state authorities as regards to the CRZ issue was voluminous his (MoEF) ministry would require time to study the matter before any solution could be found. He has requested the state government to seek more time from the High Court to implement its order in view of the matter being studied by the central government.
