Goa, a complete entertainer

A few years ago when Venkat Prabhu heard from his long-time friend Sampath an idea for a film, little did he realize that he would make ‘Goa’ years later. "We did the post production work of my first film ‘Chennai-28′ in Soundarya Rajinikath's Ocher Studios and when she called me to do a film she said "I want your kind of film" and that's how Goa hit the floors. This is the third film for Venkat Prabhu after ‘Chennai-28′ and ‘Saroja’.

"It's not challenging for me to maintain these guys as they've already acted under my direction. It was just fun working with them," says Venkat and adds, "Goa is known for its holidays and casinos and you can find everything in the movie," informs Venkat. "Goa will be a romantic comedy and it has got a lot of emotional touches. Apart from these, there will be lots of surprises awaiting you."

Yuvan scores the music and the movie is likely to hit the screens on Pongal.
