Reddy aides holidaying in Hyderabad, Goa

After his failed mission in solving the crisis in the BJP government in the State, High Command observer Arun Jaitley left for Mumbai along with National BJP General Secretary Ananth Kumar this morning.According to sources, Jaitley has invited Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, Speaker Jagadish Shettar and Revenue Minister Karunakar Reddy to Delhi for further negotiations.

Before leaving Bangalore, Jaitley and Ananth Kumar held a meeting with Yeddyurappa, State BJP President D.V. Sadan-andagowda and other prominent leaders.

Jaitley told the media that the crisis will be solved within the frame work of the party.

He said that he had discussions with all the leaders including Karunakara Reddy, Yeddyurappa’s Cabinet colleagues and large number of MLAs.

Jaitley expressed the confidence of solving the crisis as soon as possible.

He claimed that the government under the leadership of Yeddyurappa was functioning well and it will continue, as according to him, there was no leadership crisis.

The MLAs and Ministers, loyal to Reddy brothers, continue to stay in Novotel Resorts of Hyderabad and Intercontinental Resorts in Goa.”The crisis will be solved within a week. Everything has cooled down,” he added.

Incidentally, Tourism Minister Janardhan Reddy while launching road projects in Bellary this morning said that he hoped that the BJP High Command would provide a good leadership to the State.

Meanwhile, there are strong rumours that BJP General Secretary Ananth Kumar, a bete noire of Yeddyurappa, too is lobbying for the CM’s gaddi taking advantage of the situation.

Talking to the media persons who met him, Revenue Minister Karunakar Reddy said that he had explained all the issues and the reason for the present crisis to the BJP observer Arun Jaitley.
