Editor of Goa edition of Marathi daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ Prithviraj Hazare was arrested by the police today in connection with his alleged provocative writings during the recently held Maharashtra assembly elections.
Hazare was nabbed by a team of Miraj Police in Goa who booked him under IPC 125/153 and produced him in the district court here, police said.
The controversial writings related to communal riots that occurred in Miraj-Sangli region during the Ganesh festival immersion in September
