Many travel operators and consolidators are providing cheap Goa vacation. Packages offered by these companies include luxury and budget hotels, economic class flights to business class flights, bread and breakfast, etc. Goa is mainly famous for its beaches that are divided into two major groups, those that lie in North Goa and those that lie in South Goa.
Anjuna Beach, Candolim Beach, Dona Paula Beach, Miramar Beach and Sinquerin Beach lies in North Goa. Colna Beach, Benavlim Beach, Bogmalo Beach, Palolem Beach, Varca Beach and Cavelossim Beach lies in South Goa. Beaches of Goa are the main attractions in Goa, but attractions other than beaches are:
Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary: It is situated 52 km from Panaji in the foothills of the Western Ghats in Goa. It includes Mini Zoo, Deer Safari Park, Formal Gardens, Botanic Gardens and a few Ecotourism Cottages.
Old Goa: Old Goa contains some of the churches of sixteenth century. Chapel of St. Catherine, Chapel of St. Cajetan, Church of Lady of Rosary and Church of St. Augustine are some of them.
Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary: It is the second largest wildlife century in Goa. Maximum part of this place is covered with dense forests, with a few open grass lands.
Dudh Sagar Waterfall: It is one of the highest waterfalls in India. It has a total height of 306 meters and a width of 30 meters. Dudh Sagar means sea of milk, water flowing from this appears to be like milk.
Goa Carnival: Carnival is exclusive and unique to Goa, and was introduced by the Portuguese in earlier centuries. It is the major attraction among the tourists. Carnival held in February for three days and nights every year.
