Goa: Remo Fernandes Calls for Social Change Through Music

India's renowned singer and Goa’s pride, Remo Fernandes, said that music can spread a lot of messages to do good in the world. Ever a social activist, especially in his land Goa, Padmashree Remo Fernandes is in Dubai to open the 'IndiGoa' restaurant at the Karama Hotel on Friday December 18, where he will also perform in front of special guests in a live concert that night at 'Tantra', the club.

At a press conference on Wednesday December 16, held at the Karama Hotel, Remo announced that he will be the music director of a new Bollywood film by Sunil Khosla named 'Go Goa' which will begin shooting in the New Year.

Perfectly at peace in his ancestral home in Siolim, Goa, Remo is taking life on the slow track after his hectic work schedule in the past. Remo said that he would sing some of his popular numbers at the opening of IndiGoa apart from a couple of new songs. As he ended the press conference, Remo took a dig at the media and asked them to report constructively and to help in nation building.

Remo was appreciative of the role played by Daijiworld and mentioned the popular website at least twice in his comments during the press conference.
