India’s wildest and biggest music festival ‘Bacardi Blast’ will be held in Goa amidst tight security with the organisers leaving no stone unturned to make the event a success.
State-of-the-art, multiple-level security will be in place for the two-day event, beginning tomorrow at Gymkhana ground here, as a crowd of 5,000 to 8,000 people is expected, Farhad Wadia, Chief Executive Officer E 18, a division of Network 18, said. “We all are aware about the hightech threat perception faced by the state. We take this seriously and we are responsible for everyone,” Wadia said.
The event organisers have drawn Rs four crore insurance package for public liability. Goa, which will usher in the Christmas and New Year celebrations in the days to come, have already conceded about the security threat for the state.
