National Investigating Agency is investigating into two cases regarding Goa blasts, Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Ajay Maken informed Mr Shantaram Naik M.P. in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. Minister said in his reply that The Central Government in consultation with the State Government of Goa has directed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to conduct the investigation of two cases relating to bomb blasts in Goa.
Minister has said in his reply that NIA has registered two cases under sections 120B,121A,122,123 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code ,sections 16,17,18 and 23 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention ) Act,1967, sections 3,4 and 5 of the Explosive substance Act,1908, and section 6 and 9B of the Explosive Act,1884 against the accused.
The minister further said that the case is still under investigation , and that, filing of charge-sheet follows investigation.
