Goa drama shifts to Dilli durbar

The national capital will play host to the next act of the drama in the state's ruling coalition on Wednesday with the Congress-NCP coordination committee set to meet in the afternoon to discuss issues raised by the 'group of seven' MLAs.

Sources said that among the G-7 demands is a leadership change. When contacted, state Congress president Subhash Shirodkar denied that a leadership change was on the agenda and declined to divulge the issues to be thrashed out.

While the rebels reached Delhi on Tuesday evening, CM Digambar Kamat and Shirodkar are scheduled to reach on Wednesday morning. PWD minister Churchill Alemao also reached Delhi on Tuesday.
