Goa’s first woman chief minister Shashikala Kakodkar felicitated

Goa first woman chief minister Shashikala Kakodkar (75) and country’s third being felicitated by the Union Agriculture minister Sharad Pawar in the presence of Chief minister Digambar Kamat, north Goa MP Shripad Naik and others during the special felicitation ceremony of the former chief minister on completing 75 successful years of her life at the Gymkhana ground in Panaji. Shashikala Kakodkar who is also known as the ‘Iron lady’ of the state lit seventy five diyas (symbolic to her age) during the ceremony.
