The education secretary Dr.Mudassir informed the teachers in the institutions of higher education that the Government is planning to create infrastructure development to make the state as educational hub for higher education.He was addressing the seminar organized by teachers organization of higher education in Goa.
The brain storming is going on to decide whether the infrastructure development could be done by the Government or with private participation.
It is yet to be decided the site for the said project. There is a need of the participation from the people from all walks of life.The vice chancellor of Goa University who was present for the inaugural function of the seminar said that there is a lack of competent teaching faculty in Goa as well there is need to have better facility of infrastructure in the state to make it a place for quality education.
